Emmeline Forde (Wright)

When Emma Forde (known as Emmeline) was born in 1875 in Netley, Hampshire, her father, Jeremiah (a Colour Sergeant in the British Army), was 40, and her mother, Emma, was 42. 

They were emigrating from Ireland to England and she was born immediately after the boat docked. 

She married Alfred Ernest Wright in 1897 in Hackney, Middlesex and they had seven children in 10 years. 

She had four brothers and one sister. 

She died in Enfield in 1961 at the age of 86.
