1890 Ernest Currey

Ernest Currey


When Ernest Currey was born in 1890 in Dawlish, Devon, his father, Henry, was 32 and his mother, Ellen, was 29.

He had two daughters, Mary Ellen and Amelia Grace, with Ethel Mary Addicott between 1911 and 1913. 

He served in the Army in WW1 and then became a labourer. 

He was a bell ringer at Dawlish United Reform Church. 

In later years he lived with Amelia Grace and he died in his hometown in 1972 at the age of 82.
