Johnny (Jack) Hedges
When Johnny (Jack) Hedges was born on 20 March 1896 in Rousham, Oxfordshire, his father, Thomas, was 34 and his mother, Ellen, was 28.
He married Alexandra Irene Pizzey in January 1920. They had 14 children during their marriage.
He began his career as a Cow Man.
He served in the Journey's End Battalion of the British Army in WW1 and served again in WW11.
He died in 1948 in Enfield, Middlesex, at the age of 52.
