Mary Currey (Rowsby)

When Mary Ellen Addicott Currey was born on 31 October 1911, in Dawlish, her father, Ernest, was 21, and her mother, Ethel, was 19. 

She married Sidney William Rowsby in April 1937 in Dawlish, Devon. It was a double wedding shared with her sister Amelia Grace. 

They had one child, Christopher, during their marriage. 

She was a member of the British Legion and she worked in Gateways supermarket. 

She died in April 1980 in Dawlish, Devon, at the age of 68.
