Richard Oakden

When Richard David Harrison Oakden was born on 18 April 1955 in Stafford, Staffordshire, his father, David, was 28 and his mother, Margaret, was 30. 

He married Catherine Linda Cairns in 1977 and they had three children He then married Samantha Jane Rowsby on 15 October 1993. 

He has one sister, Sue.

Rich worked as a software engineer and in 2002 set up his own production efficiency company, Gemba Solutions. 

He retired in 2017.
